German ab initio and German B are not the same
IB German sits within language acquisition. German ab initio is for beginners with little or no previous experience, while German B is for students who have studied German before. The support a student needs depends heavily on which route the school has entered them for.
Eurolingo asks for the student’s IB route, level, school year, teacher feedback and current concerns before recommending a plan. That keeps lessons aligned with the student’s actual course rather than a broad beginner textbook.
